  Navigating With GPS 



This is a seminar aimed at the boater who has some knowledge of basic navigation procedures, but wants to take advantage of the newest generation of low-cost, hand held GPS units, while continuing to plot position on traditional paper charts.

It consists of three nights of instruction and one night for the exam.

This is a upgraded course that includes a new student manual and a CD.  This CD includes a simulation that allows the student to practice using a GPS unit. It also includes quizzes, a video, audio lessons, and sample exam questions and answers.
